Please read through carefully and fully:
1.*Deposit and Cancellation Policy:*
– A non-refundable deposit may be required when booking your appointment.
– Cancellations made without at least 24 hours’ notice, without rescheduling, will forfeit the deposit.
– No refunds will be provided if your vehicle cannot be tuned due to existing faults or prior tuning.
– If applicable, a £50 fee will be charged for a health checks.
2.*Vehicle Condition and Your Responsibility:*
– Once you agree to have a remap you ensure your vehicle’s maintenance is up to date and meets the manufacturer’s specifications.
– You confirm that your vehicle is roadworthy, including being taxed and having a valid MOT for road testing purposes.
– Acknowledge that tuning is carried out at your own risk, and HGV Tuning LTD accepts no responsibility for any mechanical or component failures.
– HGV Tuning LTD offers a lifetime warranty on ECU software only, read more here.
3.*Test Drive:*
– You will be asked to test drive the vehicle to ensure it is running properly and that there are no issues with the remap. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to confirm your satisfaction and discuss any concerns needing attention.4.*Performance/Eco:*
– Most diesel vehicles typically experience MPG improvements even with an eco remap. This said, these gains cannot be guaranteed due to driving style.
5.*DPF Removal:*
– If we are performing this service for you, it’s only for a vehicle that we believe and see proof of it’s been exported. Please see government guidelines regarding DPF removal.
6.*Remapping Process Risk:*
– No warranty is provided for components, mechanical components other than the ECU software.
– You, as the customer, are responsible for the condition of your vehicle prior to the remap.
7.*Our Pre-Health Check Disclaimer:*
– Our pre-health check includes an OBD fault code scan, a visual inspection of the engine and listening to the engine for any irregularities.
Any fault found you will have to sign for it to go ahead if want to continue.
If there are any underlying issues to other components of the engine, damage, or wear that are not visible, HGV Tuning LTD cannot be responsible. It is the customer’s, your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in good condition for remapping.
8.*Customer Awareness:*
– HGV Tuning LTD does not have a vehicle history or maintenance records.
– Any unreported issues not detected during the pre-health check remain the customer’s responsibility.
– By proceeding, you accept responsibility for any damaged that occurs before, during, or after the remap process.
It is crucial it read, understand and agree to these terms before proceeding with any services.
Any issues must be reported within 7 days of the remap. Slanderous claims, with or without evidence, made on or off social media are strictly prohibited. Non-compliance may result in action by HGV Tuning LTD.
9.*Changes to Terms:*
– HGV Tuning LTD have the rights to modify these terms and conditions at any time. any changes will be communicated on our website.10.*Warranty:*
– Lifetime warranty on all software, free diagnostic scan and adjustments to the map if required.10.*Money Back Guarantee:*
– To ensure you’re happy, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee, ensuring your satisfaction. As part of the refund, we will revery your truck’s ECU back to its original factory file. Please note that travel expenses will apply for this process, and refunds will only be issued once the original file has been reinstalled on your vehicle.All information must be honestly and accurately as possible.
