SCANIA ADBLUE REDUCTION

SCANIA ADBLUE SOLUTIONS

Reduce Your Truck Adblue Consumption and Save More.

For export vehicles, many operators want to reduce excessive AdBlue consumption while retaining a fully functioning SCR (AdBlue) system. Our professional ECU calibration is designed to optimise AdBlue dosing strategies, helping reduce unnecessary AdBlue usage while maintaining normal system operation for the intended application.

Many long-distance operators report noticeably longer intervals between AdBlue refills after calibration. Depending on the vehicle, operating conditions and workload, some customers find they refill the AdBlue tank far less frequently than before. Actual results will vary depending on vehicle specification, maintenance, payload, route profile and driving style.

By reducing refill frequency, operators can spend less time topping up AdBlue and more time keeping their vehicles on the road. Every calibration is individually tailored to the vehicle, with reliability, drivability and smooth engine performance remaining our primary focus.

This service is intended for export vehicles and applications operating outside UK public-road requirements. Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the country where it is operated.

Suported Models & Engine System:

EMS changes via development software:

We use the most up-to-date diagnostic software designed for Scania trucks. We utilize the Dealership software in developer mode for Scania trucks, which grants us higher-level authorizations than those typically assigned to your regular Scania garage.

We safeguard comprehensive vehicle configurations using SOPS files. We retrieve information about existing faults in the vehicle, including their distinct manufacturer identification codes.

We also employ a separate software to access data from the engine program directly. This allows us to generate a comprehensive map, facilitating the identification of fault addresses. While the process might seem complex, we can access and adjust all aspects of the vehicle, encoding parameters on a one-to-one basis.

Custom exhaust problems with Scania

When incorporating a stainless steel exhaust equipped with sensors that aren’t endorsed by the manufacturer, or even integrating valves, you’ll often encounter issues predominantly related to the management of exhaust gas treatments—such as EGR, DPF, and SCR systems.

HGV Remapping possesses the capability to rectify errors that emerge subsequent to the installation of a customized exhaust system on Scania Euro 6 models. Through our manufacturer development tool, we can directly fine-tune parameters concerning pollutant emission treatments within the vehicle’s internal software. It’s important to note that certain Scania models, like the R730, incorporate additional sensors, notably 2 NOx sensors. This configuration can complicate the regulation of exhaust gas treatments after modifying your truck’s acoustics. However, our expertise empowers us to effectively resolve these complications.
